About Woodland Beavers Woodland Beavers is a growing Colony, we are currently in a transitional phase having lost a number of Beavers to Cubs in recent months, although this can be a hinderance it isn't and doesn't affect the quality of the programme at all, and in fact has helped the newer Beavers settle in far more quickly. We like all the other sections are extremely active in both District and County events as well as putting on our own group activities, and in the last year introduced a summer programme to allow the Beavers to take part in activities they had never had the chance to before and work towards their challange badges at the same time. As well as this it was a fantastic opportunity for them to just get out and enjoy the good weather. The summer programme was run in conjunction with the Riverside Colony, and is only one of the number of things we work together on, activities such as Beaver Sleepovers, Parties and trips/visits allow the Beavers to interact with even more children of their age group and is always a good opportunity for them to find out what other School mates also go to Beavers.
